End Gun Violence: Step Forward has been working with the National Network for Safe Communities since August, 2015. Project Manager Maxine Bryant is leading the implementation process for GVI in Savannah and the city conducted its first call-in in December, 2015. The city is continuing to work toward making all elements of the Group Violence Intervention fully operational in Savannah.
Grieving mothers are organizing events to help cope with trauma and provide support to those who have lost loved ones in Savannah.
