Albany began working with the National Network for Safe Communities in September, 2014. Since then, under the guidance of Project Manager Katie Clark, the partnership has held two call-ins and began conducting custom notifications in February, 2016. The city has also hired a support and outreach coordinator as it continues to move towards full implementation of GVI.
